    •    Who is Oceana Coffee? 

Oceana Coffee is both a National and International Award winning coffee roaster. Oceana Coffee has been built from a self passion and the pursuit of good coffee. 

    •    Where is Oceana Coffee based?

Oceana Coffee was founded in 2009, specializing in roasting specialty coffee. We operate a state of the art roasting facility as well as 4 brick and mortar locations in Palm Beach County, Florida.

    •    What makes Oceana Coffee different from other coffee roasters?

Every coffee origin, every coffee bean tells a unique story via flavor, at Oceana Coffee we strive to have the coffee tell its own story.

    •    How long has Oceana Coffee been roasting coffee?

We started roasting coffee in 2009 on a re-engineered pop corn maker. We're now operating 4 different locations, roasting our beans in-house and running a wholesale division. 

    •    Is Oceana Coffee a small-batch or craft roaster?

Both - roasting good quality coffee is a science and a craft. All of our coffee is small batch.

    •    Does Oceana Coffee roast in-house?

yes all of our coffee is roasted by our master roaster, on the latest, state of the art roasting machine.

    •    Are you an award-winning coffee roaster?

Oceana Coffee has won awards both in the USA and in Australia at roasting competitions as well as Espresso competitions. 


Coffee Sourcing & Quality

    •    Where does Oceana Coffee source its beans from?

From all around the world, we only source and buy coffee that is rated as specialty grade, usually top 5%, hand picked

    •    Are your coffees single-origin or blends?

A mix of both. We offer a lot of single farm, single origin coffee as well as a few fun blends we have put together over the years. 

    •    Do you offer organic or ethically sourced coffee?

All of our coffee is ethically sourced and we are working on having Oceana Coffee certified to roast with the USDA Organic cert. (Although we already roast Organic coffee) we cannot legally label them as Organic after we have roasted them. 

    •    Are your coffees Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, or Direct Trade?

It depends. Some of our coffee is all of the above. 

    •    How fresh is the coffee when it ships?

All of our coffees are roasted weekly, so whenever it arrives at your doorstep it is only ever going to be a week or less since being roasted. 

    •    How often do you roast your coffee?

We roast every week.

    •    What roast levels do you offer (light, medium, dark)?

All levels, including light medium, medium dark and dark.
 
    •    How do I know which coffee is right for me?

We have set up a small quiz as you enter our site that can help to identify your style or type of coffee. 


Roasting & Flavor Profiles

    •    What’s the difference between light, medium, and dark roasts?

The difference is on the roast level - Light Roast - tends to be a little fruity/milk chocolate - Medium Roast tends to have more nutty style flavors (almond, pecan) - Dark Roast darker styles dark chocolate, earthy heavier style flavors.

    •    Are flavor notes natural or added?

All natural, No added flavors.

    •    Which coffees are best for espresso?

Our Espresso Blend is purposely built for Espresso. Coffees like Sumatra, Colombia and Ned Kelly all make great espresso at differing flavor profiles and levels.

    •    Which coffees are best for drip, pour-over, or French press?

Every coffee we offer is great for all types of coffee brewing methods.

    •    Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes we do. You can find the subscription option on each product page.

    •    Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?

    •    Where are you coffee shops located?

All of our stores are located in Palm Beach County Florida. You can find our store addresses in the footer area of this website.


Shipping & Delivery

    •    Where do you ship?

We ship all across mainland USA using USPS. 

    •    How long does shipping take?

Orders are prepared within 2 business days. Shipping with USPS takes between 3-7 days, although we cannot guarantee timeframes. Please refer to your tracking number to see the updated delivery date. 

    •    When will my order ship?

Orders are prepared and shipped within 1-2 business days. 

    •    Do you ship internationally?

We currently do not offer international shipping. 

    •    How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost depends on the size of your order. You can find real time shipping calculation at checkout.

    •    Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we do offer free shipping on orders of $75 +.


Returns, Exchanges & Issues

    •    Can I return coffee if I don’t like the taste?

At this time, all sales are final. We do not accept returns on coffee bags. 

    •    What if my order arrives damaged?

If you receive a damaged product, please send us detailed photos by email so we can assess the situation. All packages leave our facility in excellent condition. A damaged package is out of our control during the transit period. We will work fast to file a claim with the shipping carrier. 

    •    What if I receive the wrong item?

Make sure you contact us as soon as possible. We will cross check all orders to ensure we understand the issue and get your the correct item. 

    •    What should I do if my package is lost or delayed?

Make sure you file a claim with the shipping carrier as soon as possible. We will do the same on our side, and get you sorted so you can receive your order and enjoy your coffee! 


Brewing & Storage

    •    How should I store my coffee for freshness?

You should store your coffee in an airtight container out of the sun. DO NOT Store in fridge or freezer. 

    •    Do you sell whole bean or ground coffee?

We sell both. Please note ground coffee is non-refundable and also considered final sale.

    •    What grind size should I choose?

Grind size is per the usage or brew method.

    •    How long does coffee stay fresh after opening?

We recommend using your whole bean coffee within a month of receiving it, within 2 weeks if ground. 

    •    Do you offer brewing guides or recommendations?

Yes we do. 


Account, Payments & Support

    •    Do I need an account to place an order?

No. You do not need an account to place an order. You can simply checkout as a guest.

    •    What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit card companies. 

    •    Is my payment information secure?

Yes your payment is secured through this Shopify platform.
