Mexico Chiapas - Medium Roast
Well-balanced with a sweet, nutty aroma, subtle hints of cinnamon, and rounded out by mild acidity and a clean finish
Chiapas is Mexico's southernmost state, home to the Sierra Madre de Chiapas Mountain range. To its west are the coffee growing regions of Oaxaca and Vera Cruz. But it is the beans of Guatemala’s famed Huehuetenango region, directly to the east, with which Chiapas coffee shares so much character.
All the coffee is grown at an altitude between 900 and 1,100 meters above sea level, and at Oceana Coffee, we make sure that our clients are delivered a true High Grown EP coffee with the respective cup profile. The beans are washed and sun-dried.
This coffee has soft nutty notes, dark chocolate, sweet, with a mild acidity.
