Congratulations Quantum House! Over the past quarter, the customers & visitors of Oceana Coffee voted for an organization of their choice and on this past Friday, the winner was announced and was awarded $500. Oceana Coffee, the charities/organizations who were in the running and the people of the community, in person & on Facebook/Instagram live, celebrated together with drinks, small bites and with Happylicious by Betsy who had samples of her new edible cookie dough jars!
Oceana Coffee is also proud to announce that from their coffee bag sales, Quantum House raised $230, Get There Foundation raised $100 and FRLA Eats raised $65! Thank you to everyone who was a part of this success and participated in purchasing coffee.
Quantum House opened in 2001 to families of children who were going through a difficult time and in need of support. Today, Quantum House has 30 rooms and serves more than 1,000 family members each year. Their mission is to provide a caring & supportive home that lessens the burden for families whose children are receiving medical treatment in Palm Beach County.
Donations are a big part of Quantum House and are relied on to make a difference in each and every family who is in need. Oceana Coffee is proud to be able to award Quantum House $500 for their mission in our community.
Quantum House offers more than just a place to stay. Their kitchen is the heart of the home and a place for families to gather. Children are also able to keep up with school virtually or with teachers who visit the House, high school and college students also volunteer their time. On top of all the great things Quantum House offers to families in need, they also have volunteers who provide therapy dog visits, golf lessons, story time, art projects and more!
